I saw someone in GD looking for volunteers for that. If this is your project, Crispy, I'd like to help out. I don't know much about computers, but I can type & make data entries. :)

8. no, that's the open source software alternative.

ours is the project at www.katrinasafe.com ... the project will be issuing laptops and handhelds to the people actually AT the various evacuee centers. Therefore this is the website most likely to have actual evacuee data.
