An apology re; yesterday

I’m so sorry if I unintentionally misled any of you re: yesterday’s Countdown. I had hoped that my separate post would help clear up the confusion (and the $5.00 I spent calling MSNBC to ask them as well).

In any event, I feel rotten about it. I sincerely thought the show was off, since my cable guide said it was, as did the “Countdown” website. I won’t make that mistake again.

My profuse apologies.

My cat's not feeling well again, and I'm worried. If she's off her food again tonight, I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow.

If anything happened to her, I'd fall apart. I love that goofy furbal more than words can say.

I think everyone was figuring that Countdown would not be on. It was, after all, Labor Day, & most other shows (radio & TV) were running repeats. If anyone wants to blame you for not seeing Countdown last night, then they're way off base because no one prevented them from turning the TV on.

It happens. Hell, I missed the Return of Dan and Keith footage one night because I assumed that because he was on vacation, they'd show nothing of him. Was ready to kill myself, but really had no one to blame. I thank dzika I finally got a copy of it.

Look at it this way: if I hadn't run off to the movies yesterday, I'd have been home reading my email, and could have posted that Countdown was going to be on much sooner, and maybe more people would have tuned in. Mea culpa.

Anyway, it just goes to show, on these holiday weekends, unless we have specifically been given the word, nobody knows. I only posted my elaborate list of Ways We Can and Can't Reliably Tell When Countdown/Keith Is On as a public service to help people out for the future...not to rag on anyone. So take it easy...and take care of that cat!
