I PMd her earlier and told her as soon as she gets her power back on (I'm assuming the scenario that she hasn't been able to log on due to lack of electricity) to let us know that she's okay.

And she's talked about being a hurricane pro. Probably one the six million FL residents still waiting for the power to come back on.

5. You never really get to be a hurricane pro (especially these days) because

they are all so different and unpredictable in their own way. Wilma was a freakazoid storm, it hit worse on the east coast than where it hit land on the west coast, and it was predicted to be a 1 or maybe a 2 when it hit Florida. Also, changed from 1 to a 5 overnight and was slow and torturous over the Yucatan and fast and furious over Florida. I'm glad I wasn't down there for any of the hurricanes this season, last year was bad enough, this season was off the hook crazy.
