12/12/05 Chickens comming home to roost & KOEB Meeting
Edited on Mon Dec-12-05 07:50 PM by Botany

The head of Diebold has to quit because fraud.
bush still says that knowing what he knows now he would still invade Iraq.
From nowhere (Rove & Creative Response Concepts?) e mails now show that
Gov. Blanco was told to roll up her sleeves to look busy in response to
Katrina. Funny this was just after Gov. Blanco released her e mails that showed
she tried to get help from bush, FEMA, and Homeland security with no response.

Mother Bay Air & Cubs get ready for their buddy Keith.

49. Did anyone watch the MSNBC special last night with
David (and Tweety)? It was a good summary of the whole leak case, etc.

I don't see how it looks anything but BAD for this misadministration.

60. The only problem was that those who watched were probably
mostly people like you and me who already had a pretty good understanding of what's going on. Once again, preaching to the choir, but it was a good show.

I was surprised to hear Tweety say "operatives" inside the WH. He grew a little pair. At moments, he almost seemed lucid. But then he started screaming his big ideas at VandeHei and Isikoff.

I thought it was a good overview also. What's funny is that the story moves so quickly, it was outdated by the time it ran. :)

Jim kept trying to talk and Tweety wouldn't shut up.

90. i love the time lag
from when novak says she told luskin to when rove goes before the grand jury again & 'fesses up. what's the excuse going to be? "oops" or "i had to shampoo the carpet"?

i hope it was all worth your bar card, luskin.

at $900/hr., searched diligently night and day until he found it. That must be what happened.

Now there's the mystery source who says it happened before the first testimony. That's also been attributed to Luskin. What is this crapola? Where is the defense if he knew it before the first GJ testimony? Is Luskin setting Rove up? Is Luskin just an idiot? How could you not imagine the testimony might not match since you had many meetings? OMG.

Is Luskin out to save his own ass or just totally incompetent?

100. a new mystery source
before rove's first visit to the GJ? man i can't keep this crap straight anymore.

if so, then luskin knows rove is lying to him & lied to the GJ. that's called suborning perjury, a violation of luskin's duty to the court as an officer of the court as well as a crime (conflict of interest w/his client rove). that or luskin is trying to muddy up the waters so much the truth will never be found.

wow, i've never seen anyone play fast & loose with their bar card like he has.

and here's a thought: what if v novak is lying? why did she wait so long to come forward or to tell her editors & where are her contemporaneous notes? hmmmmmmmmm

sorry if this isn't making too much sense; i'm making fudge & have to keep running out to check on the temperature of it (one time i forgot & ended up with a pot full of fudge "glass").

101. Okay: homework
http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2005/12/9/101031/299

Also, check out http://firedoglake.blogspot.com/

Read her pieces (oldest from the bottom up) about the subject.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/12/08/AR2005120802136.html

"A source familiar with Novak's account said she believes the conversation took place in March or May, and definitely took place after February 2004, when Rove first testified before the grand jury.

But one person close to the case said the conversation took place before Rove's first grand jury appearance in February. This person said the conversation was not the event that led Rove to change his testimony."

It just keeps on getting weirder.

103. it's making plenty of sense to me
and for the life of me, I can't figure out why Luskin is skating so close to the edge of disaster. Why would saving Rove be worth risking disbarment to him?

86. It is going to get real interesting .....
Diebold, Iraq, and now the latest is that 700 million was funneled to defense contractors (some of whom
were just mail boxes) and then the laundered money made it's way back to bush & company.

The level of corruption by this gang is mind blowing.

BTW Shame about Rove too
