That's Queen Dusty, ain't she 'sumting else mon' as we used to say in Trinidad. I will try and find some pics of the black and white baby whose name is Marsey (don't ask my kids gave the other two Valley girl names) for future postings. There are very few pics of the third cat, KC, she's not very photogenic.

90. My old cat Moose, the cat love of my life,
who died in 2000 when he was nineteen found Dusty for us.

We had a picture of Moose in the diningroom. In the picture he was looking out a window with the curtains blowing, we had the picture placed in the diningroom window so that it appeared that the Moose in the picture was looking out at the house diagonally across the street from us. We had a new neighbor in that house that we hadn't met yet.

My daughter and I were having breakfast at the coffee shop around the corner and saw a sign in the window on the way out that advertised kittens for adoption. We fell in love with the little gray one on the sign. Even though Moose had just recently passed away and my family and the other cats were heartbroken, missed him terribly, and were not even thinking about adopting another cat (we already still had the two sister kitties at home), we called the number on the leaflet to inquire about the little gray one anyway. It was Mr. Bunny's birthday and he and Moose had always been very close. We called the number on the poster, it turned out to be our new neighbors house, she fosters animals. We went over, she had a house full of full grown cats and the one kitten we had called about. We fell in love with her at first sight and brought her home for my husband's surprise birthday present.

So really, Moose found her for us by looking out the window (in the picture) directly at the house where Dusty lived before she came to live with us. Kismet.

10 lbs. and yet they sit and wait until she's finished her din din before they even dare to approach the bowl. She's the big cheeze in the feline family Chez Bunny.

11. Good evening Reverend.
Hello everyone.

Keith has such a subtle and classy way of putting down and focusing on the intricate idiocies of Preznit Clusterfuck, it is just a delight to watch him in action. I love the way he worked the 'I can't open the door' story into the interview with the ever smug little Dana Milbank.

He'll be having fun tonight reading the poem from the House (or the Senate) can't remember which, a Michigan stateman read his poem about the ludicrous 'war on Christmas' and had a few choice lines for O'Loofahhead.

Keith is really doing a heck of a job.

Edited on Thu Dec-15-05 08:58 PM by Patsy Stone
I have to say: You know what, KO, I would have put you on the cover. And, I know you realize that now you're definitely on "the list", if you ever had any doubt you were on it before.

69. Ain't he wonderful??
and he didn't even HAVE to mention...no mention of Bill O'Reilly, period!!!!

It kills me how he and Anderson have this little war going on. Anderson gripes because Keith won the Playgirl Sexiest News Anchor poll by stuffing the ballot box and campaigning like hell. Then Anderson gets sexy kudos from People and Keith is snubbed. Now Keith is a Truth Teller in Rolling Stone and Anderson has to BUY an ad! Too funny!!

:loveya: for truth-telling Keith.

Never forget the proud heritage of the KOEB: it began in the 2004 Election Results and Discussion Forum.

Edited on Thu Dec-15-05 09:30 PM by BerryBush
Thanks...I had scoured their Web site looking for anything on this, and found nothing!

Oh, and this reminds me, Keith was much amused on Dan's show by reading that he was "a god among sportscasters." Phil the Showkiller played a snippet of the Hallelujah Chorus and Keith laughed and said "Now, for my next miracle..."

edited to add: I just love how he's spinning the entire globe on one of those long, elegant fingers...he truly DOES have the whole world in his hands!

for Olbermann. There it was, way down low. I posted it as its own thread in GD, to give him the proper props, but it was sort of a duplicate of CatWoman's thread about the whole article.

I thought the guy deserved his own thread. :)

67. First thing tomorrow I'm going out to buy my Rolling Stone best
troublemakers in the world issue. Top 18 is the new top 10.

Yeah Keef. Anybody read it yet (do I need to even ask that question), does it mention KO being the only one to even intimate that the election in Ohio was not on the up and up?

72. I wouldn't be able to tell you that.
 I get near only one newsstand all day, and they don't have it in yet. I looked last night and asked this morning while one of the employees was just unpacking the latest magazine shipment, and she said no, it hadn't arrived yet.

Dang, this has been killing me since Keith mentioned it on Dan's show! He had a good time talking about it then too! Of course he will be accused of blowing his own horn again, but hey, did you see him practically blushing? Only Keith can somehow manage to blow his own horn so shamelessly and still come off in that "aw shucks" way. Of course, he IS buying five copies for his mother. No, wait--five copies?? Make that 500...

One thing that's for sure is that his Katrina rant "The 'City' of Louisiana" got their attention--whether or not they paid a whit of attention to his work on the election fraud. Which they probably didn't.

I hope we get our copies here soon. It's driving me nuts.

81. yes, but have a question
(don't know if this falls under "stuff to ask a rev" or not but here goes)

so somehow, i'm on the board of the local young dems. anyway, i go to the meetings, give the kids advice ( :wow: they actually listen sometimes ), etc. well, they decided to have a christmas party & do a secret santa gift draw. no problem, right? i ended up drawing "jeff." "who's jeff?" asks i. turns out he's the new webmaster, no one knows him, knows what he likes, etc. i'm not the kind to automatically go & get a freakin' gift card because, well, that's cheating. so, i'm all set to go this weekend to get a techy-type gift when i get a call from one of the officers. they couldn't get a hold of jeff, so now i'm supposed to get a present for "joe." WHO THE HELL IS JOE? :banghead: now i'm back to square one...i'm thinking of sparing myself the frustration & "cheat" with a gift card from best buy or something. is this ok?

92. Gift cards are fine, and practical.
Did they give you a dollar amount? it would be really hard to just take a stab at it.

I never cared for secret santas. Gift-giving should be voluntary, IMO.

So how can that be bad?

Oh, and the cat pics are so big, people, they're taking me forever to download. Same thing with the pillaging...sorry.
