Our luggage went to Hawaii. We got it back the next day, but I was not a happy camper.

I've had bags go walk-about twice & got them back both times. One time, all the tags & ID (including the Samsonite labels) had been torn off of my bag. Nothing was missing inside because at the time I was a student & wasn't bringing home anything worth all that much.

I am what you call a "religious" person. (a religious Dem? those exist?) Always have been. Not big into the organized stuff, I was raised Catholic, but I sorta do my own thing now. Like to read the bible, pray daily etc.
