I know this is going to make me seem like a jerk....
but the other day when I turned on Countdown and saw some-guy-who-was-not-Keith doing the show, well, I just flipped the channel and watched basketball. I mean, seriously, why bother? Psh....

:)

1. Nah, that just means you're cool.
You prefer good snark. :)

2. either that or I'm still hung up on
my old Sportscenter mentality. I thought both KO and I have evolved, but maybe there is still room to grow..... :)

Fat lot of good it did me, too. Cavs still lost. :-(

8. To hell with the Pistons. May they be soundly defeated
and descend to a fiery hell.

Rooting for the Pistons is like rooting for Goliath. It's like rooting for Brad Pitt to get laid.

9. Nothing like being a bad sport when your home team loses.
What happened to good sportsmanship? I'm sure you'd be singing a different tune if you had won. We have a good TEAM, and TEAM is the key word here -- not a one-man show.

10. What's the matter, Berry?
Did you lose money on the game?

I'm not pleased that the Spurs lost. I sure as heck will NOT cheer for the Mavs, but c'mon, you win some, you lose some.

12. Unknot your knickers, people.
I don't really have a problem with other people's teams. I just have a problem with Cleveland being The Losingest Sports City in America, In Every Sport, For All Time.

Hell, in a few years LeBron will be a free agent, sign with some other team, and win himself a whole handful of NBA rings. But it won't happen while he's still with the Cavs...that's all. By the time he becomes as big as Jordan, people won't even remember he's from Akron anymore.

Either that, or he'll suffer some tragic career-ending injury.

When Cleveland gets its heart broken, it gets its heart broken BIG.

13. Then take it out on them
not the Pistons. It's not their fault the Cavs suck.

14. The Cavs don't suck. They just got beat, that's all.
There's no need to go to the other extreme. Sheesh.

16. I still worry.
It's the Curse of the Cleveland Sports Team Fan: even when you get an incredible player plopped in your lap, you lose him. I'm worried we're gonna lose LeBron to free agency before he ever wins a title for us. :scared:

11. Brian Unger
I've had a nasty cold, so I went to bed early. I'd rather see David Gregory or Monica Novotny guest-host.
