back when he first wore the GSB suit, he tried it with a pink shirt. I remember, because I was surprised that a pale pink shirt didn't look good with a brown suit. Still wonder if a light coffee color would work with the GSB.

But what was with all the crappy ensembles last night? Buncha guys who are afraid we'll think they're gay if their clothes coordinate?

62. Oh, poor Norman!
How old is he? I know cats drop weight as they age (we humans should be so lucky), but is this enough to be concerned?

I've also learned that cat's teeth are pesky, troublesome suckers. Of course, they'd NEVER let you brush them (unless you did so when they were kittens), and tartar control stuff doesn't do much good. But I keep a supply of "Dental Diet" on hand. The nuggets are so big, the cats have to chew, rather than gulp their food.

Keep me posted on how he does.

And what about Crook? Is he OK?

77. Norman's 14, & the vet had said that he needed to lose weight so I've
had both of them on the Iams hairball/weight control formula, so for him to lose 5 pounds is good!! Crook weighs 9 pounds so for him that's a good weight & his teeth are good. The vet did the bloodwork for Norman today, so I'll find out on July 5th if he can go under anesthesia to get his teeth cleaned & so on. :hi: :loveya:  :pals:

He went from 17 to 14 pounds, and last year (right before he died) he was 6 pounds. It happened so gradually and so fast, I never noticed.

I will be praying for both of you, that all goes well.

98. Tell me about feline dental care!
Muffin eats only soft food, because of her tummy issues. She needs to get a tooth pulled, as well as a cleaning. I'm dreading it. Not only is it so pricey, but she HATES going to the vet!

I'll be wishing Normal well. Fortunately, Muffin is out of her heat inspired funk, and back to her old sparky self. :)

107. It sure isn't pleasant.
When I first got the cats (age 5 - them, not me ;)), Binky had stinky breath, so she went to the vet. Had a tooth pulled, which went fine, but she was stumbling drunk with the anesthesia when she came home. It was awful.

You said sparky. :loveya:

15. I've always maintained that the reason Scalia was the only one laughing
during Colbert's WH Press corps dinner routine was because he knew he was the only one in the room more powerful than the 'unitary executive' Even though Scalia voted with the Pretzeldent, he must have known Roberts had to abstain and knew the way the others would vote, no skin off him to cast a supportive vote of Bush, knowing full well Jr. was going to get shot down anyway. No way Fat Tony wants Bush to think he owns the Supreme Court. We made you, we can break you.

Just a theory, I haven't read the individual opinions of the dissenting justices. Mr. 'There's a hair in your Coke' sure seems upset, he actually spoke.

Randi's show when he was filling in for her. Apparently Sam, Sara Silverman, and this actress (sorry I don't watch 24 so I can't remember her name) were roomates about 10 years ago. Sam said she looks like she's about to hurl in that picture, he hasn't talked to her recently but he was betting she did not enjoy that at all.

121. Oh yeah, "Gidget does Boniva" is a national ad.
I'm not surprised she has osteroporosis. It tends to attack women with small frames, and boy is hers small.

Also, all birds have bones naturally full of air pockets, so why wouldn't the Flying Nun too?

went back for her six-week postpartum followup? She didn't know it's better to space the bratlings a little? Or she hasn't figured out that putting the condoms on the watermelons was a demo and it doesn't do a damn bit of good if all the produce in the fridge is sheathed in latex if KFed isn't?

131. I love how people are titling this story "View to a Kill."
Ain't it the truth. They've pulled enough hair amongst 'em to make some serious wigs.
