I cannot believe that I am even seeing some media people I previously trusted line up and drink the aforementioned Kool-Aid as they shake their heads oh-so-sorrowfully about how journalists are just going to HAVE to do a better job of reporting in order to avoid having blood on their hands.

Not a WORD said, mind you, not a WORD said about an administration that starts a war by lying about the existence of WMDs having blood on ITS hands. Oh noooo! Never!

Oh, but I am expecting Keith to be unable to resist the siren song of the blog tonight. I guess our pal O'Lielly really laid into Terry Moran's "who are you, the editor of Newsweek?" statement to McCloddan (misspelling intentional) yesterday--said "I would have slapped him" and other lovely things. I can't wait for Keith to tell us--either on the show, the blog or both--about how much HE'd love to give old Bill forty lashes with a wet loofah!

Second story from yesterday (the 19th). Apparently Mr. Falafel really laid into Terry on his Wed. night show for the tone he took with McCLoser by asking him who made him editor of Newsweek. Said the "elite media" are just "lashing out" because they are "rapidly losing power and influence"!

Keith hasn't addressed Billy-Boy's comments yet, but perhaps his working the bit about the "1984 Channel" or whatever it was into last night's Countdown was his way of hinting at it! I wouldn't be at all surprised if he eventually does!
