Who knows, this could all be entirely not related to the KOEB? I just hate to waste all this paranoia on nothing :) I see gentle reminders on other groups when topics stray from the mission statement.

My concern, personally, lies with the fact I've been out rah-rah'ing our KOEB live blog in other forums, especially when I see Keith-related discussions in GD and GD-P. Sort of a come hither and join us sort of invite! I'll stop doing that, since it's possible people were disappointed that the thread I directed them too may have been off topic at the time :shrug:

We can certainly take our "jobs, pets and flowers" to a new thread? Should we try to keep the KOEB Party focused on ties, snark and news items?

I'm feeling alot of the blame, since we never had this problem before I suggested we move KOEB to the Clubhouse. I need a hug.

and I don't think it has anything to do with it. I know those on dial up have a hard time when there are too many pictures, that's why it doesn't bother me not to post them. As far as WG it may have been a problem with another board that spilled over. I will give credit to the fact that I had never heard of that board, and that it stayed out of any threads I have seen in the clubhouse or the nightly threads. You are not to blame and should not feel responsible. The KOEB is a great place and part of our mission is to point people in the direction of the last real newsman that doesn't buckle under right wing pressure. Lets keep the KOEB warm, welcoming,supportive,informative, flirty and snarky.

Lets all please remember Skinner provides us this great place, takes a lot of time to keep it going and civil and as far as I have ever seen does not play favorites.

we didn't see it coming. At least I didn't, but it is the internets. shrug But keep up the good work, you have been putting a lot of effort into spreading the news and it is hard enough in the nightmare world of these times and we all need encouragement, it is discouraging enough out there. Beside I was a chicken about posting for a long long time and got my courage from the KOEB. I just ignore any negative or dramatic threads, they tend to go away if no one pays attention. And try to answer/kick informative threads. I wish there had been a KOEB last summer when Keith was hitting * with good ones almost nightly. I almost caused deafness yelling alright in the SO's ear on the phone.
