ADL Petition in support of Holocaust Denial UN Resolution
Please sign this petition from the ADL in support of the UN Holocaust Denial resolution.

http://support.adl.org/site/PageServer?pagename=UNHolocaustDenialResolutionSurvey

This Friday, the United Nations General Assembly will vote on a resolution condemning the biggest lie of our time. The resolution "condemns without any reservation any denial of the Holocaust."

Today is the day to stand up to the deniers and their sponsors. Sign ADL's statement to the President of the General Assembly, voicing our support for the resolution NOW.

Sixty years after the Holocaust, those who deny the brutal extermination of six million Jews have never been as confident. Their potential impact should not be underestimated.

Why? The Iranian regime - hell-bent on obtaining nuclear weapons and led by a man who calls for Israel to be wiped off the map - is behind them. Tehran was the venue for a holocaust-denial conference in December 2006 attended by some of the world’s most notorious anti-Semites.

The deniers' aim is clear: to spread hatred of Jews. That's why Iran is supporting them.

In memory of those who perished - for the sake of future generations - sign our statement NOW.

When you stand up to Holocaust denial, you stand up to anti-Semitism.

Sincerely,
Anti-Defamation League

UN holocaust denial resolution

H.E. Sheikha Haya Rashed Al Khalifa
President
United Nations General Assembly

Your Excellency:

On Friday, the UN General Assembly has a decisive opportunity to display its moral resolve.

A resolution which condemns Holocaust denial is on the table. When the resolution is passed, the world will be reminded that those who deny the murder by the Nazis of six million Jewish women, men and children, as well millions of others, are lying.

This resolution needs to be passed by an overwhelming majority. The United Nations must speak with one voice. It must stand up to Holocaust denial.

Your excellency, hatemongers like those who attended the December 2006 Holocaust denial conference in the Iranian capital, Tehran, are not concerned with truth. Their aim is to spread anti-Semitism and bigotry. By squarely confronting their deceit, the UN will protect the memory of those who perished and make the world a safer, more honest place.

We urge the UN to do what is right.

Sincerely,
Anti-Defamation League

1. I am going to sign it
but there is a typo - "as well millions" should be "as well as millions" - don't know who to tell to fix it.
