argh. fibro attack in progress. just when things were going good.
i have had a great year, aside from the disc fusion that started it off. i guess if that had gone perfectly, i wouldn't be on lyrica, which seems to have helped a great deal.
but i crashed on monday, after dragging along for a few days, and i am just about out of my mind at this point. fatigue is awful, pain is crazy. and frustration at being back here is the icing on this shit cake.
i know mostly this is due to the annual studio sale at my co-op, which was a flaming disaster. it is always tough. lots of work cleaning up and getting ready. lots of whining, worrying, scrapping. at least most years, at the end, some people have made money. not me, of course, since i do not make coffee cups. but this year was terrible, in spite of my working hard all year to get us some pr and some visibility.
so, now, i am taking a break, wanting to work on my house. and crash. i have gotten a couple things done. gotten people in to do some things, which has mostly gone good. but i had to get a project started before the floor guys came today, and it was so hard. i did do it. and they will be here in an hour.
but the pain. the whole left side of my body hurts. every joint. gonna take some arthrotec, i guess. see how that does.

but argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh, argh!!!

1. Roll with the punches
You do what you can do and if the world wants more, it can just go to hell on its own.

There are days I can barely drag from bed to computer. On those days, that's all I do.

There are other days I can weave, shop, wash floors, drive, and do the other things that normal people take for granted.

When I can't, I can't.

not fabulous, but hanging in there. getting some work done. doing a lot of painting here, after having some great plasterers do a couple of rooms for me.
using the down time to cope with a visit to my computer by kali, the destroyer of worlds. that's a whole story right there.
still having some ibs type trouble. blech. but joint pain is way down, and sleep is good. energy level is ok.

survived the holidays, although i was a crab. fortunately, my very good hubby loves to shop, and took care of all the presents, all the food shopping, and even did the wrapping. we did do cookies, but not the usual insane 2 dozen varieties. kids had to help if they wanted their favorite, so they were of a little more assistance than usual.

so, how are you? how did everyone else get through the holidays?
