fibro and bruises. jeez.
so, last thursday i showed my usual supply of grace, and took a header down a half a flight of stairs. slammed into the wall head first. nothing broken or anything. a small cut on my head and a couple of bumps elsewhere. in the days since, as the bruises have bloomed, i see that i have one of the biggest bruises on my arm that i have ever seen, short of a car accident. it covers about half of my arm. a real beaut.
like it has in the past, this has given me quite a flare up of the fibro. i have felt like shit since then, and today have a pain explosion in my rib cage and shoulder. this is on the other side of my body. there is not a bruise in sight anywhere near where it hurts.

do other fibro sufferers have this sort of thing?

1. Other than the moon being perpetually in Klutz, not really
but any fall or other accident will produce pain in places you think escaped unscathed. Likely you overstretched a few tendons when you fell and they're letting you know about it now.

3. I've wondered if I now bruise more easily
or if my bruises heal more slowly as the fibro get worse. It just seems like bruises last longer and hurt more than they used to.

I also get a lot of random bruises now where I don't ever remember doing anything to cause them.

4. I get a lot of them, too
I get dime size bruises in places that I could not possibly have taken a hit. and they do heal slowly. afore mentioned bruises are almost gone, and the worst of the bumps is still a little swollen and sore.
it's always something.
