Indians 2007 A.L. Central Division Champions!
Their first Central title since 2001. Since August 21st, Cleveland has posted a 24-8 record, a .750 won/loss percentage.

Hitters in the middle of the lineup -- struggling through most the season -- are playing to their potential. DH Travis Hafner was batting .294 with two homers and nine RBIs over the last nine games entering September 23rd. Shortstop Johnny Peralta was batting .348 with two doubles, three homers and four RBIs over the last seven games. And number nine hitter Casey Blake hit two walk-off home runs in the course of four days (September 14 vs K.C. and Sept. 17 vs. Detroit).

Great time to get hot, guys.
