2. That's been a logo the Twins have used on and off since 1961

so there's some tradition behind it. The twin characters names are Minnie & Paul. It lights up when a home run is hit and, at night games, they appear to be shaking hands - that doesn't show up so well at day games. I kind of like it and, unlike Chief Wahoo, it doesn't really offend beyond being a tad corny.

Sadly, the guy who created it died like a week after the first game at Target Field and didn't get to see the new park. I think I heard that when he drew the logo he was paid $50.00.
