I have sent Maureen Dowd 100s of Emails-this is the first time she responded. If you notice she did not deny she was there which shows her partisanship because she was not assigned by the NY Times to cover the rally. Also she can give it but she cannot take it.

The story there - it was John Sasso, who was a campaign manager of Dukakis that taped the debate....
and he then gave it to MoDo who put it in print and gave the story legs. Biden was the frontrunner at that time.

Now think about that election. Did Dukakis win? No - Bush Sr did.
Think about how things in this country may have been different if it was Biden v Bush?
