What have I become
Spiritual growth involves contrary action, actions contrary to what the ego demands. Strength, I find, is knowing when you can't do something and ask someone bigger for help.

When a child falls, it is surprised, then may cry, and then it knows to reach out for its parents' help. Automatically.

What have I become, that I forget to reach up for God's help when I find myself weeping on the ground? Over and over and over?

And that is always a good attitude for starting over.

3. Good to see you too, Kajsa.

I'd like to wish you a very belated Happy Anniversary on your 28 years sober.

I haven't been on DU for quite a while but it was nice to check in and see news of your anniversary.

5. Human
I heard someone say in a meeting one time that the best we can ever be is human. I was so greatly relieved that I think it helped me survive. It was one of those deals where the person was from out of town and I never saw them again, making me really wonder "who they were".
