Rice (not Condoleezza) and broccoli! Lots of broccoli!
That is what I'll be eating today. Trader Joe's sells a mixture that they call Basmati Rice Medley. It has bits of vegetables and some spices already mixed in. The only problem with it is that the rice they use is white rather than brown, but this is the only form of white rice I really eat. I'll be having that along with steamed broccoli and lemon juice. If I were to eat the entire batch of rice (about 8 cups) and half a pound of broccoli, it would barely put me at 2,000 calories for the day, and that's after a 225 or so calorie breakfast this morning. As it is though, I will be sharing it with Jeanette so figure I'll end up in the 1,600 - 1,800 range for the day. I can live with that.

What is on your menu today?

1. Total cereal with banana and fat free milk for breakfast
For lunch- Two sandwiches with reduced calorie bread, nearly fat free meat, fat free cheese, and low fat miracle whip. A serving of Lay's baked potato chips and one apple.

For dinner- One Lean Cuisine entree.

At work tonight I will drink 3 20 oz. bottles of POWERade Option at 25 calories a pop.

It adds up to about 1800 calories.

2. That sounds pretty good Giant, i love Trader Joe's.
I just had a cup of egg beaters with some reduced fat mozzarella cheese and low carb catsup, probably sound gross i know but i cannot eat eggs or fake eggs without some catsup. Lunch will be some shrimp i broil over a bed of baby spinach and a whole wheat pita and dinner is up in the air right now, maybe a south beach dinner or maybe a chicken breast broiled with some Grey Poupon on it.

3. One of my earliest memories is about being fed eggs in my high chair.
I decided I didn't like them and started spitting them up. :)

Since that very early time, I have only been able to eat eggs two ways. Either very small pieces in potato salad, or in omelette form, drowning in both filling and a ridiculous amount of ketchup, and if the eggs are not cooked until they're golden brown, forget it. But the rest of it sounds pretty good. I might even go out on Saturday and get some kind of white meat chicken or turkey sandwich, just for a treat.

4. i thought i'd let you know how my chicken was
i whisked together about 1/4 balsamic vinegar, about the same of Grey Poupon and about 3 or 4 tablesppons of oilive oil and then i put the chicken and the marinade in a zip lock bag in the fridge for the day. I cooked it at 350F for about 30 minutes and it was really good and very easy to make.
