Would anyone like to drop something on him a line or two, gently setting him straight?

1. What a f*cking jerk
Am composing a response to him now - something along the lines of the violence and degradation those "girls" he so wants to be experience every f*cking day. Good f*cking god, what is wrong with this world?

(Although as you can see from my response here, it may not be the "gentlest" reminder.)

2. Gently would not
cut it. Nothing will cut through that load of garbage. Me thinks someone feels powerless and is not motivated enough to do anything about it including thinking.

4. It's a really big pile, isn't it?
Sounds like his potty training didn't go so well.
Any wordy effort to counteract this bozo would be appreciated.

5. I have to leave and be
gone all day but I will take some time to think about it and write when I get back. I (the MOM) and driving to Kansas City to help my son (the MALE) move in almost 100 degrees today because I (the MOM) have a pick up truck and always get this responsibility to help out the MEN in the family.

6. I hope that he has no daughters
though I hate thinking such a mentality is helping to shape the mind of a young boy...

8. Yet another reason I am glad to have been born gay.
If you envy women so much, Bill... become one. But I sense you'd rather just insult us.

9. Apparently The Tennessean doesn't require its journalists to actually
TAKE writing classes prior to getting their job as a writer.

What an unmitigated load of unreadable bullshit.

Okay. I'm going to try to parse this out:

He was 'abused' at birth because his mother (not his father) pushed him through the birth canal.

Honey, that's called BIOLOGY. Although I could understand why your mother was so eager to get you out of her womb.

Then, the mother (not the father) force fed him baby food that tasted awful. Gee, perhaps she should have given you a fliet mignon to gum away at.

Towards the end, though, he seems to deride the fact that as a man, he's expected to do such pedstrian and woman-centered things like help with the dishes and laundry. OH THE FUCKING HORROR---how about this---you eat on the dishes, you help clean the dishes. You eat the food, you help shop for it.

He doesn't seem to be the least bit happy in ANY aspect of life OR marriage, and yet it's all the woman's fault.

I don't remember any law that forced him to marry one of those AWFUL women, or have children with those BEASTLY women. Yet he did and he did, and now he doesn't want to deal with the responsibilities of marriage or father hood.

How would have being born a girl made his life any easier? He still would have been abusefully FORCED through the birth canal, still would have been INHUMANELY forced to eat bland baby food. He would have been expected to do the dishes and the laundry without any help, would have been expected to do all the things for the children INCLUDING Carrying them (which he seems to have alot of issues with).

He stopped carrying his children when he was puked on. Oh. My. Fucking. God. Stop. The. Presses. I don't have babies, but I've been aroudn them and the fact is, babies puke. Infants puke. Toddlers puke. Perhaps he should have taken the time during that short 9 month period of gestation to read up on some of the things that occur during childhood---reflux is one of them. He's not special. I've had puke on my head numerous times, all of it by children that aren't mine.

It's interesting how hypocritical he is.

He derides his mother (and all females) for FORCE FEEDING him instead of his father.

Yet just a few paragraphs later, he derides males for HAVING to parent their children and do such unmanagable things like carrying them, and putting their junk in the trunk.

So which is it--should men DO shit, or should they be allowed to paint and play in the weeds like he laments so?

what an assface. I'm going to try to form some sort of ltte about this, but his writing is so incoherent that it's hard to make even a decent argument against what he's saying because it's difficult to even understand WHAT he is saying

11. Unlikely
Here's his recent op ed on gun control. "Gun control: hypocrisy or stupidity?" (From what I can tell he considers it both.)

http://tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050715/MTCN0205/307150052/1302

He seems real fond of Teddy Kennedy, too.

I've been able to dig up only a couple of his essays but he also seems to have a penchant for referring to his wife as "my bride". Just sayin'. (Seems this guy has a grown and married son so I'm doubting he and his "bride" were married recently.)

You'd really like to believe it's satire, wouldn't you? It'd make it so much easier.

12. wow. I've seen better writing
by non-native english speakers in an English 101 class.

he's just all over the map.

No start, no middle, no end. Just ALLL OVER THE PLACE.

No coherent point. No wrapping it up in a tidy package at the end, you know, tying all thoughts together.

He'll have none of that, apparently.

13. Hence,
my "from what I can tell" comment. This guy's writing is atrocious. I have read that gun control article like 4 times and I still can't figure out what he's really trying to say. Yikes.

14. The complaints about marriage
Are so annoying. I'm so sick of this idea that all married guys would be fun-loving bachelors (presumably getting laid all over the place), were it not for the calculating women who tricked them into domestic servitude. Please. And gawd knows women aren't expected to sacrifice any freedom or fun, right? Does that jerk know how many married WOMEN I've known in my life who rarely, or never, get to go out with the girls or go shopping or even take a nice hot bath because the kids always need something or the husband refuses to do anything.

Every guy I've ever been in a relationship with has tried to change me in some significant way. Every one of them attempted to eradicate aspects of my appearance or personality that were threatening to them or didn't fit in with their view of a relationship. Ironically, what they tried to erase were often the very traits they claim attracted them to me! They had to re-make me so that I wouldn't leave them. One ex of mine actually admitted this to me. Men have the full support of society when they do this, and it's actually expected of them in some quarters. It's called "keeping your woman in line". Very important to do that lest you suffer the painful indignity of being known as "pussy-whipped".

17. Ah, yes, one of my exes got me interested in one of his avocations
so that I became quite knowledgeable about it and still keep up with it.

You know what one of his complaints was when we broke up?

That I had learned too much about his avocation!

:wtf:

What, is this guy writing them from his jail cell?

I don't think I've ever read anything as venomous and bitter as this piece in a newspaper. His is one scary creature.
