Jumping on the "lets make abortion a felony" bandwagon with South Dakota...? I shouldn't be surprised but I am. I haven't been spending as much time on-line or on this board the last few weeks or so. Just checked my older mail box and found an alert from Planed Parenthood that spoke of this, and my heart sank...

Did anyone here, hear of this insanity?

I can't look at the boy king when he appears on television as it is... I usually just mute the tv until he's off. I don't want to hear or see the man that has dismantled women's rights this way... :cry::mad::eyes: He obviously hates women and is determined to put us all back in bondage in one way or the other.

I don't regret spending less time here, but I do feel like I'm late to the party in some cases. Yet at the same time it's overwhelming and so hurtful--its far more difficult for me to stay abreast of it all. No sooner did the ink dry on South Dakota, all the imitators have come forward, and as you said the pharmacists, etc., etc. For a while there, Before cutting back on my internet time, I felt that every day was yet another reason to be angry, sad, depressed and in absolute despair.

I'm in Ohio and I attended the Public Hearings this past Tuesday against HB 228. The legislation is going nowhere for now. Actually...this type of legislation is a great motivator. What a great way to get women registered to vote! What a great way to get Dems elected. 'Good morning, Ms. Did you know that Ken Blackwell who is running for Governor on the Republican ticket wants to protect rapists?'

It's a perfect opportunity for us....they have gone way over the line. They have shown their sadist and cruel intentions.

Regarding Louisiana....she's a Dem and signed that bill???? She just dug herself into a big fat hole....exactly what the pugs wanted her to do. She made a HUGE mistake. They blackmailed her.

Wouldn't it be wonderful for all of the straight women (those who don't drink the Kool-aid that is) to simply refuse to provide sexual services to their men until all of these asinine policies and laws are revoked? Methinks it would happen very quickly.

My response,"...excuse me, but have you heard about South Dakota? Have you heard that Louisiana and Ohio are attempting to follow suit..among other states around the country?" :mad:

She STILL tried to say that it will never be illegal everywhere. I sat on my end of the phone, shaking my head and told her if South Dakota and the states attempting to jump on the anti-choice bandwagon were not a red flag for her I don't know what is.

I wish women like this would wake the fuck up. It isn't just a campaign platform. There are many, many people in this country that would not be happier than to see women returned to the status of second, or third class citizen. It's already occurring. What the hell is it going to take?
