I'm in heaven (how has your season gone?)
We all talked about our hopes and fears for the season ahead, now, as we enter the finishing straight: how has it all gone for you?

Incredibly, my team, Newport County, are about to become the first team in the English pyramid (from our level and above at least) to secure promotion. Dean Holdsworth (the ex-Wimbledon and Bolton player) has lead us to a remarkable 24 POINT (yes, 24 point!) lead at the top of the Conference South. Wonderful times in South Wales.

The Ryder Cup is held in Newport later this year, so you can amaze your friends with your sporting knowledge, by, as the tournament is about to start, casually mentioning what a great season 'the County' have had.

Do your homework here:

1. Dire!
LFC has hit the skids- In debt up to our arse with Hicks and Gillette-

We have no wingers, no backup striker, few defenders, no creativity in midfield and defending set pieces is crap!

If we got the summer started by buying Bastian Schweinsteiger I might see some hope but things look shambolic right now.

good your team is doing well- Setanta going under here is the US has really curbed my enthusiasm for the game. I watched more championship and SPL than I thought and Fox soccer plus is not showing enough.

2. Not bad, not bad at all.
Wish Ramsey hadn't been injured but we're in a good spot in the League and did very well against Porto.

3. The mighty Irons survived...
... and at Christmas I would have settled for that quite happily. I just hope next season isn't quite as awful. Can it be?
