Ghost Tracks

Many race tracks have come and gone, some long before I was born. For me it's interesting to see the empty grounds of a former track. Some are still sitting there and some you would never know existed. And unfortunately, there are quite a few out there that have played a role in mine and my families lives that have closed their gates. From attending my first race at 2-weeks old to Continental Divide Raceway, to my first NASCAR race at Riverside, from tracks my grandfather raced on like Meadowdale, Wilmot, Lynndale Farms and Mid-America Raceway to ones I myself have raced on like Second Creek. Gone but not forgotten, and this is where I'll post images of the ghost tracks I visit.

Here is the site of the former Swiss Grand Prix, now a park. (It was already a park back then, kinda like the Australian and Canadian GPs today) You can make out most of the layout.

I used to have a text file with links to all former F1 circuits. Only two of them are 100% invisible now -- Las Vegas and Riverside. Sadly, it seems Nivelles (Belgium) and Jacarepaguá (Rio) will go the same way shortly. Here's them:
