the Transcription business. I was offered a job selling it in the medical industry...thanks

1. When doctors perform surgery

or an autopsy, they speak into a tape recorder and record the procedure, patient condition, etc. Non surgical procedures are also recorded. This recording is then sent to a medical transcriptionist who will listen to it and transcribe the information onto a written document that then goes into the patient's file. This is how I understand it. I am looking into this career for myself (medical transcriptionist).
