It's official!
I really need a new job.

Long story short, new company bought old company. New company so politically correct and corporate I want to puke! I really don't like the taste of the Kool-Aid they are pushing. Dress code went from casual to professional pretty much overnight so I am spending a pretty penny on clothes now not to mention it is really a pain in the ass! Quite a bit of overnight trips for training and meetings which doesn't work for a single mom of a teenager & only child with elderly parents. I had freedom with my last employer to come and go as I pleased as long as I made my #'s. (sales budgets that is) I just found my resume a few days ago and need to update it before looking however I am so done. Unfortunately I am not independently wealthy so I must find a new job before quiting. I figure I have about 3 months tops before I either blow or they find out I am looking.

Any advise? It's been about 10 years since I had to do this and I know things have changed out there. Need to be discrete so I can't give a ton of details.
