We have openings for a diversity specialist and in HR
These are all for a job at a leading investment bank where I currently work on the proprietary trading desk. For the cynical among us, yes - I will be compensated if I help fill this position, but I think it would be cool to help someone from DU either way! Diversity Specialist-Part Time position
Associate Director/Director
Diversity Specialist for Work/Life & Flexibility
Reports to Group Head of Diversity
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Diversity Specialist for Work/Life & Flexibility is charged with creating projects in collaboration with
Human Resources and Business Group colleagues across the bank globally. This person will be
responsible for supporting a range of projects that include but are not limited to designing flexible work
programs and program piloting. This is a part-time position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
♦ Partner with Group Diversity Director of Research & Design to conduct research and benchmarking on
Work/Life internal and external best practices
♦ Identify region and business specific needs for Work/Life balance programs
♦ Design and pilot programs for employees who want to request flexible work arrangements
♦ Design and pilot programs to help managers hone skills to better lead teams with employees practicing
flexible work arrangements
♦ Review policies and practices related to flexible work arrangements and work/life balance
♦ Work with businesses to design innovative on ramps, off ramps and phase-back programs
♦ Other projects as appropriate
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Excellent communication skills are required in English. Additional languages are a plus, German
preferred. A basic understanding of Human Resources management is required, as well as a good
understanding and knowledge of the Financial services industry globally. Individual must be able to
handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong Project Management skills are a must. Organizational
development skills, change management skills, strategic planning skills and business acumen are
essential. Business experience is necessary. Position location flexible.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years work experience
Director/Associate Director-level position (dependent upon experience)
