So I screwed up and began the fix today!
I met with my old manager from my previous job. She had told me when I gave notice that anytime I wanted a job to call her. So I did. I already knew that there was nothing available but we had a great talk. She understood why I had to take the chance I did. She only wished I'd talked to her first because she could have given me more insight. C'est la vie....

Anyway, I let her know straight up that as soon as something opens up call me. We will talk and I will be more then ready to go back from whence I came!

Knowing this gives me a little motivation to hunker in and work and learn my skill more so if/when the opening presents itself...I'm good to go.

Just thought those who might have been curious would like to know.....

1. I hope it works out for you.
As usual, you have a good attitude about how to finish up your employment with your current company. I'm sure you'll appreciate your job at your previous employer even more once you get back. Good luck! :hi:
