They're so stupid, they won't know the difference. That's what they think of us.

We should have a We're Stupid forum. Each day we can log the lies and policies there.

We entered the day knowing that we were getting gouged by Exxon/Mobil, Shell, etc.
Then George proposes that we use our reserve.
Since we're stupid that sounds pretty good - makes us forget all about the gouging.

1. Well, 32% or so of the people appear to be dumb as a
fucking stump.

That is the market being played to now, and the extra 10% or so that are oh-so-slightly smarter than fucking stumps that could be swayed back into the "we luvs us some Georgie" camp.

2. It's very wearying to be angry and sad at the same time, but
when we're treated like idiot slaves . . . .

Did you hear King George say yesterday that if he had it to do all over again, he'd do Iraq the same . . . :grr:

3. Actually, and more accurately...
the fool proposes suspension of the resupply of the Strategic Petroleum reserve - which is practiclly full, anyway.

Without going into excruciatingly boring detail, that move, at the most wildly optimistic formulation, will save one third of one percent of the cost of a barrel of oil.

On $70 dollar oil, that amounts to about 23cents per barrel.

Happy Days are Here Again!

4. Whoever they are, they have us pegged

5. All the problems were because Scotty was such a bad liar...
... but we're stupid, so having Tony Snow lie to us will make things better.
