I am an angry white woman. I know, big
surprise there.
What is happening with our party? Have they been reacting, or are they waiting for their next
break?
What have they been doing for us lately?
Issues:
gas prices - check, today

war in Iraq - not so much (yeah, we need to get the hell out of there, but sooner rather than later)

Katrina/FEMA/DHS - pitiful and bound to get worse

1. Where are all the Giants?
Been wondering that since Big Bill left the White House.

Where's Mark Warner in all this. If he's such big stuff, isn't it time to step up?

2. I can only hope that the Party is taking an under-the-radar stance
until the stretch run of the '06 elections so as to not give the 'pubs anything to go negative on.

11. You are Entering Repub Airwaves--Anything You Say Will Be Used Against You
We don't really get to HAVE a message.
Anything we say gets hopelessly distorted by the media.

Our best chance is that people are so disgusted with the Republicans
that they will vote for anyone who isn't them, almost sight-unseen.

15. "not give the 'pubs anything to go negative on" >>>>>>>
Napoleon famously said.

"Never interrupt the enemy when he's in the midst of making a mistake."

"Never allow the enemy to chose the battlefield."

Also Tsung Su

"When advancing convince the enemy you are retreating."

"When you are retreating convince the enemy that you are entrenching."

"Always appear where the enemy least expects."

6. we get excited about exposing the crimes of this admin
it finally hits msm, and our just rewards are always an "ongoing investigation". i am so sick of it as well. it's hard for me not to believe right now that our representatives are sucked deep into the corruption along with the repubs. I'm old, and i've never seen this much in this short of a time. absolute disregard for the constitution, no system of checks and balances, mean while the bombs keep dropping in Iraq, halliburton and carlyle raking in the profits. rove in charge of funding the reconstruction of New Orleans, ...... nothing suprises me any more. I'm stubborn and will not ever give up, but the time for words is over, TIME TO ACT.

9. Why Resort to Bribery When You Have Blackmail & Swiftboating? (& Murder)

Don't forget that the regime has every phone call, email, fax or letter to or from our Congresspeople.

Nothing incriminating there? Try a little cut-and-paste.

If even that doesn't yield anything spicy enough, just make something up out of whole cloth and the media
will report it (over and over) as "news", however bogus it may be.

And for those with whom the regime really has a problem, there are the ever-convenient small airplane crashes.

12. Was Responding to the Post That Suggested Their Silence Implied Complicity
I don't buy the notion that the Dems are just as corrupt as the Repubs, or even close.
They couldn't accomplish that even if they wanted to!

They have other ways.

We certainly haven't heard any criticism of the regime from Senator Wellstone lately.

13. I liked Ted Kennedy on Meet the Press Sunday.
He's been browbeaten into virtual oblivion by the RW, but the old fart still has a lot of fight left in him.

14. here's my take......
Americans KNOW what these rat bastards are up to. Even though it has been an uphill battle all of the way...the news of their treasonous dealings have made its way to the general public. How long did it take the American people to get angry about it all. I mean, really...the pResident lied us into a war. Where is the outrage? He outed a covert CIA agent...he breaks the law CONSTANTLY...

You've got to wonder why it took everyone so long to get a grip...it's a sad situation, IMO.

Republicans, Democrats and THE AMERICAN PEOPLE need to take responsibility for what has happened to this country.
