I love Tweety's spin on things..
Edited on Tue Jan-10-06 07:46 PM by gatorboy
Right now he has Ruplican Rep. David Dreier on who is set to reform the corruption in Washington. I love how Tweety built up through the last segement of his show that Dreier is the man to set it right again.
So in Matthew's eyes only the Republicans can bring dignity and honor back to D.C.....Weren't they going to do that in the first place?

3. Isn't Tweety mixed up in the Abramoff mess?

Recall last week when he refused to name any people that may be tied into the Abramoff mess?

Someone on DU said, Tweety's name is in the mix.

11. Like a cleaner fish to a shark
All very innocent though...no real story here...Tweety would NEVER do anything unethical, right?

manly.

Tweety is very impressed by 'manliness'. Maybe Dreier should be sculpted on Mt. Rushmore next to B*sh.

Yich.

7. "cycle of scandal:" reps can have all the free booze they want from
lobbyists but have to keep their dinner costs down to $50 per meal, with a total allowance of $100/year.

Yeah but I bet that free booze is flowing hard!!!! What a bunch of crapola

15. Check Tweety Link in Post 11

Check the link in post #11 and see what you think of Tweety.

Why has he remained silent on this little connection?

10. Dreier's boyfriend is his chief of staff
and makes more than any other congressional chief of staff in Washington. And Dreier doesn't even have the decency to come out of the closet. This ever-so-honest man is going to set Washington on the straight and narrow? Pshaw.

12. not exactly straight...but
this whole thing is like something from an existentialist play - one of those French jobs by Cocteau or somebody.

this is just so weird. My guess is that the big secret in DC is the alternative life-style story which, if it broke, would shake this country to its foundationhs.
