Seriously, am I the only one who is TOTALLY fed up with this skank's exploitation of sexual assault victims? It's not just one or two things, every friggin day she's interviewing someone asking them how they feel about their grandkid being buried alive or talking to someone about a woman being raped with a fucking broom handle..

I have little to no interest in knowing what any of that feels like. If a crime's reported, all I'm interested in hearing about is a guilty conviction, not morbid details about the crime itself and how it makes the familys feel..

I think it's high time people start AGGRESSIVELY complaining to MSNBC about her topics and interviewing methods.

They've moved Squinty Scumborough into her slot....his ratings must be tanking so bad, they're hoping for a prop-up...dream on. All it will do is lower Rita's ratings, because people will be less likely to flip back.

She appeals to the salacious types, who enjoy those crime victims...there's a market for it, and TV is all about the dollar; otherwise, there'd be no annoying commercials.

She was dealing with two problems--age and weight, and supposedly that is why she was fire. They figured they could get anyone to do that sort of show, and she had seniority. Better for their bottom line to get someone on the cheap, or recycle an existing commentator to do those sorts of stories at half the price.

At FAUX they like them young, skinny, dumb as posts, loaded up with tarty makeup and scant blouses, and with bosoms the size of two beach balls.

They do like their "wimmin-folk" young & sexy..but the guys? well..They got O'Reilly...Cavuto...Hannity...Colmes...Geraldo...Gibson......not many hunkish ones there..

I don't think Rita should be singled out. Unfortunately, she is just typical of what most of t5he MSM has descended into.

At one point, she would have been consigned to the "Tabloid Corner" which has always trafficked in sex and vioolence and scandal. Remember when there was actrually a difference between "Hard Copy" and "A Current Affair" and the so-called respectable news outlets?

Today, all MSM gives way too much time and resoures to such things. In a sane world, Michael Jackson's case, for example, would have merites maybe a short daily summary, and that's it. And mot of these "missing blondes" would hae been limited to the local news in the places where crimes actually happened.

So don't blame Rita. Blame the folks who give her an hoiur of prime time on a cable channel operated by a once-respectable news organization

How on earth the powers-to-be at MSNBC don't know that Joe "Dead Intern" Scarborough, Fluffer Rita (what an appropriate name!)and F*cker "He Who Loses His Bowtie in a Lame Attempt to Raise Ratings" Carlson aren't just dead air is beyond me. The scheduler has to be living in one of Dead Eye Dick's undisclosed locations not to know what a waste of time and embarrassment the Trio of Evil are each and every night. Olbermann, on his worst night, is ten times the journalist and show host than the three of them are together on their best nights.

We are seeing minor little shake-ups at MSNBC trying to pull the three of those losers out of ratings hell. Switching Dead Intern and Fluffer, losing that bow tie, will never be enough. Wonder when it will occur to MSNBC what every one in America already knows, that the country is sick of political hacks with no talent?

...under contract, and those contracts don't have a truncation clause, or a pay for performance aspect--why they did that, who knows, really. They aren't gonna make the "Phil Donohue" mistake again, by letting someone go with cash for not working. If they had hung on to Phil, who had HIGHER RATINGS than TWEETY, they'd be going gangbusters now with him--that show had real potential, and had they tweaked it a bit, maybe put him BACK in front of an audience, like his old show (but not making him run up and down the stairs--have the pages drag the mike around for him!), he could have had a ratings blockbuster.

They really need to use Ron Reagan more, IMO. He gets huge positives when he turns up. People like his no bullshit, yet gracious and gentle, style.
