What this country needs is more MYOB.

Nope I don't mean MOAB..

Remember when Mom told you to MYOB when you gossiped or eavesdropped?

We seriously need some old-time "Mom-isms" in this country..

Stuff like the old "Golden Rule" and MYOB, and "Share your toys", and "Clean up your own messes", and "Wash your hands", and "Play Nice"..

MYOB would solve a lot of the religious strife we seem to have. I don;t give a CRAP what religion you are or anyone is. Pray until your eyes bleed if you want, just don't make ME do it or make me listen to you while YOU do it. That's all I ask.

Want to start a war? Fine..just do it with YOUR money and don't make me pay for it or send MY kids to fight YOUR war.

If we practiced the Golden Rule, I think the rest of the world might like us a bit more too, and the sharing part would be nice too.

We are panicked about bird flu, but most of the scientists I have heard talk about it all say the same thing.. Handwashing is important. I see people all the time using bathrooms and not washing, going to fast food places, and eating in their cars (no hand washing there)...they may have just filled their cars with gas, and then drive through a place and just chow down with those dirty hands.

Not minding our own business has created a lot of grief for a lot of people, here and everywhere. I know that some will say that the world IS our business, but when you get right down to it, probably most people here would prefer a little TLC right here at home for a change.. New orleans comes to mind..:cry:
