LTTE. Use if you would like. Bush. Gas and Bin Laden
Bush and the Republican party has had 6 years to address the high cost of gasoline. Bush has disrupted the Middle East, made enemies of our oil suppliers, and pandered to the oil industry in America. In 2000 as Governor of Texas Bush criticized President Clinton for not "jawboning" the Saudis to open the spichot when gas was at $1.40/gallon, and yet his jaw has only incited anger towards the US. And now he claims to have a plan to address the crisis.

Trusting the oil loving, sabre rattling, loud mouth, incompetent President Bush and the Republican Congress with our gas crisis is like trusting Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda with homeland security.

1. And why aren't his good buddies, the Saudis, opening the spigot
for him? Could they all be lining their pockets even more, at our expense?
I'd love to know how much money is enough.

2. Iraq: mission accomplished. Iran: mission accomplished.
He shut off the spigot in Iraq, and doubled the price of gas, which made his cronies (US and Saudi oil interests) very happy.

He's scared the crap out of the oil market, threatening to nuke Iran, and the price has shot up again. He's doing exactly what he set out to do.

3. Hell, they've had more than 6 years . . . in 1981, just after Reagan took
office, David Stockman followed orders and shut down alternative fuel research . . . "The Triumph of Politics" . . . with the hostages released from Iran, the gas prices started going down . . .
