In tonight's episode, for those of you who didn't watch. Cartman's mom finally stops spoiling her son and tries to keep him under control. It doesn't go well. He compares eating skinless chicken to the Holocaust and actually contemplates killing his mom for a second, just for preventing him from getting his way.
I've said before that Cartman could grow up to be the president of the GOP. He mirrors Bush in so many ways in this episode that it's scary. We've all seen how Bush and his personal media machine reacts to anyone who tries to make him appear less than divine or prevent him from getting his way. The French, the Dixie Chicks, Dan Rather, Newsweek, Michael Moore, and now Stephen Colbert. Anyone who crosses the Fuherer is boycotted, fired, and/or given death threats. Parker and Stone may not have been trying to draw this parallel in this episode, but I saw it anyway.
