Anyone catch Alison Steward's "The Most"
it's on MSNBC at 3pm.

I like the idea of it - it's a direct way to influence the cable news agenda.

For example, they have to address the fact that, 5 days after the WHC Dinner, we in the blogosphere are still talking about Steven Colbert (of course, she had to get her digs in to say she didn't think it was all that funny, but it can't be ignored at least).

Anyway, wondering what others thought about it.

I give it a B to B- overall, which, for cable news, is pretty good these days.

2. I think she just sucks
I was watching in between channel surfing (hoping for programs on knitting or food fights). I simply can't stand her style, it's like throwing a 14 year old into a major news studio. Oh wait, I made a funny. I think this is her last chance at MSNobodyCares because she's been tried in other time slots and if most viewers are like me, she gets passed by. Never any thoughtful followup, plays the dumb blond (even though she is far from blonde) and is just too squeaky.

IMHO for the flamethrowers.

7. Egg-zacktackalee!!
Both targets (Bush and the lapdog press) hated Colbert's performance. Meaning, he hit his mark. :)

Mornin fooj!! :hi: :loveya:

3. They've missed the top blog topics completely this week.
They are cherry picking their "Top Stories."

Tuesday, they ignored the Colbert story, despite the fact that
technorati had it at #1, #2, #4 and #9 (out of 30 million blogs).

4. TV is always 48 hours to a WEEK behind the net....
It's all the dithering and vetting they do...

5. Maybe they don't know how to do an internet search?
Might explain their frequent factual errors?

6. You'd think a show called "The Most" would be reporting...
in real time. And it's not like the top topics haven't been
building for several hours or days.

Reporting the current top blog topics at technorati
takes 5 minutes. All you have to do is read.

Oh, yeah. I forgot. That takes honesty and integrity, doesn't it?
