How many people outside of DU or AA do you know that heard about Colbert?

I just talked to my mother who loves him. She didn't know a thing about it--especially the "he stands on things.." line :rofl:. Neither did another friend. This attests to the power of the media blackout. We are ranting and raving here and so is Randi Rhodes and Air America (AA) but step away from these two sources and you hear crickets chirping.

I think that's unfortunate.

Therefore, I propose that we keep fucking talking about it, passing it around and making sure it doesn't die. Let's make sure Colbert's trutthiness goes down in infamy.

Can somebody make a compressed video link that can be easily passed around in an easy-to-access format? I find some of the links blurry and slow.

The ones that do...I turned them on to Colbert, showing them his Saturday night massacre of Bush & the neocons!

And it HAS made it into print versions of some very large publications. I had a transcript of it given to me by a friend on Sunday morning...he had already heard about it. That is what is scaring the shit out BushCo. They can't control the message. The press did their duty and clammed up, pretended it didn't happen. But more people are online these days than read the damned papers.

here in New Zealand I know of two people other than me who watched the video online. I think you might be surprised how far this will spread.

No one here has ever even heard of Colbert. We don't get the channel and it's so red that there is no interest. I am isolated.

BUT I have been getting lots of links to the LooseChange video, it seems it has begun to be spread to a wider audience. I always chuckle when someone I know sends it to me and says "You won't believe this"!

this is the biggest mistake of the DNC website. They should have links to all liberal websites, DU, AA and cable liberals shows. It's tough to get the truth out, even to dems, with MSM propaganda. We spend our days debunking bushit. How are ours suppose to do it?
