This would be an astonishing change for him. He has never wanted anything to do with the gay community. He has never publically come out.

Sometimes the source is The New York Times or The Washington Post, other times it turns out to be a tinfoil hat blogger (who may or may not have their facts straight).

All I know is that if you go to Raw Story right now, you'll see the teaser I posted in all-caps red at the top of the page.

So yeah, grain of salt time, but highly amusing that this "breaking story" appeared on News Dump Friday while Fitz is meeting with the judge...

A little payback seems perfectly in character to me-
no honor among theives and all that.

I doubt this has anything to do with him wanting to be

Boy, what a scoop there Raw Story...

Even if we assume EVERYTHING:

1) That Gannon is a gay escort.
2) That Scott McClellen was a customer / boyfriend.
3) That Scott arranged for his boyfriend to get a white house press pass.

How does this make any difference? What possible connection does this play to anything currently going on in Washington? I just don't get why what two consenting adults do is anyone elses business -- espicially on DU. And don't tell that its about abuse of power -- that hasn't been the thrust of most

At the most we could say Scott is hypocritical for being gay and supporting the marrige ammendment (if he even does), but I don't understand why this is such a topic of conversation.

I can't see how this is any more relavent than Jennifer Flowers was to Bill Clinton.
