Edited on Fri May-05-06 05:12 PM by LaPera
When that line is spoken, you know they are being forced out, and/or they are hiding some slime about themselves, and/or know something about someone else!!

Most likely their slime & fuck ups.

10. And when then line is *not* spoken, it's also indicative...
... that something deeper is afoot.

For example, if it turns out Goss was involved in HookerGate, it wouldn't have been a good idea to say "I'm resigning for personal reasons."

Both names are being mentioned in this one.

Keep your eye on Wilkes. There are a lot of the spiderwebs of scandal attached to him. Eventually we will find out just who the big spider is.

9. More than just shoplifters...
...These BFEE turds like Operation 40 Boy Goss and CIA quasitopdog Kyle Dustin "Dusty" Foggo are in bed with the contractor Brent Wilkes. They aim to lift the whole bloody Treasury, kicking, of course, the lion's share upstairs to Poppy and Sneer and Henry the K.

14. Someone should say, for the record, that the Goss nomination
and approval by congress was a cruel joke perpetrated by all who voted for him. Here we were, when Tenet resigned, thinking that the politicizing of the CIA (WH pressure) may have led to an un-necessary war. The public should have expected that the WH and congress would install someone with at least the appearance of working for the people in a bipartisan way. Instead, what we got was a political figure working for the White House and GOP.

23. Hookers, limos, bribes,
The Media Whore Corps are forced to report this. The American people pay attention to this because it is voyeristic. The other scandals are not sexy and too complicated. This is good for the Media Whore Corps ratings which is top priority, second is pimping the Neo Fascist Regime.

28. Where HAS all the money gone?
Hundreds of billions and this is being conducted as a "war on the cheap." Very few munitions, no jets, no special "Smart missiles," not even that much personnel. No Manhattan Project. No new kinds of weapons - just old-fashioned torture and psy-ops and sending soldiers into the streets.

There's no tellin' where the money went.

31. I dunno. The "Negroponte/Goss tension" story is being pushed hard @CBS.
I'm definitely tuning into PBS' "Washington Week" tonight. I'm laying odds right now that the words, "Cunningham, prostitute, Watergate" will NOT be uttered by those preening gatekeepers of conventional wisdom.

Read Robert Parry's article on Negroponte's position with the White House crowd and was surprised that Parry indicates Negroponte may be rebelling against the Bushies. Here are a few paragraphs:

April 29, 2006, Robert Parry, Consortium News

"In effect, the Director of National Intelligence (Negroponte) was splashing cold water on the fevered assessment of Iran’s nuclear progress favored by the neoconservatives. Some Bush supporters are now complaining that Negroponte has shown disloyalty to the President by siding with intelligence analysts who reject the direst predictions on Iran.

<snip>

But Bush and his neoconservative advisers may believe that their window for forcing regime change in Iran is closing. The November 2006 elections could bring Republican reversals and leave Bush with less flexibility for launching bombing raids against Iran should he opt for a military attack as many experts believe he will.

<snip>

Now, the first battle in a prospective “preemptive” war with Iran may be fought over ousting or intimidating Director of National Intelligence John Negroponte – which would then be followed by a whole new round of making the intelligence fit the policy.

<snip>

The IAEA said it took samples of Iran’s enriched uranium and confirmed that it was processed only to an enrichment level of about 3.6 percent, when a level of at least 90 percent is needed to make a nuclear bomb. The low level of enrichment would fit better for production of nuclear energy, which is all the Iranians say they want."

Parry is usually close to the truth with his opinions and this surprises me as Negroponte is not high on my list of honorable people and has always seemed to walk the party line???
