1. Big fucking deal
The cops are doing their job, the marchers are exercising their right to free speech. So they're both Hispanic.

And it doesn't like they are struggling to hold them back.

How much you want to bet the Hispanic cops agree with the Hispanic marchers?

3. Could America exist in Spanish?
Does "America" only exist in English?

4. In the historical sense of treaty agreements and land purchases...yes.
This country speaks English. But that's in the moral sense and it was morally wrong for Sam Houston to get drunk at a party and personally sign Texas up with the US of A without asking his fellow Texans if that was okay. Are we talking morals here? Because if we are I would like all of you Anglos and the people who call you that to kindly leave.

"native" americans swiped it from the animals and plants
so if you are gonna use that argument, you have to go back past the part that justifies your position only.

I do not think the original language of the hopis and navajos was spanish.

all humans on this continent are immigrants.

6. The accompanying article makes a good point
"The New Immigration Rights Movement reminds America that civil rights are global, interrelated and for all people and workers. Since the 1990’s corporate giants and political leaders have forced, at the expense of the poor and the working class, their right to trade globally, make international treaties, commit acts of aggression around the world, and amass huge sums of wealth. Unfortunately, global rights for displaced citizens and universal protection for workers have not kept pace with the power that corporate conglomerates have yielded."

Ain't that the truth. If individuals had the same rights and influence as corporations, this wouldn't even be an issue.
