After Iraq & Katrina, Isn't It Time To Ask If Bush Ignored 9/11 Warnings?
Edited on Sun May-07-06 01:08 PM by cryingshame
In his latest editorial discussing the movie 'United 93', Frank Rich talks about asking the right or wrong questions. Why can't Frank Rich himself ask the right questions?

In Iraq, we find the Bush Administration willfully ignoring domestic and foreign intelligence while inventing their own lies.

In NOLA, we find the Bush Administration intentionally ignoring volumnious information about the impending disaster posed by Katrina. They knew the horror that was coming and yet did NOTHING to help and much to hinder.

And in both these cases, thousands of people lost lives.

So why can't Frank Rich ask the right questions?

Considering the Bush Administration's prediliction towards ignoring vital information that would save thousands of lives, isn't it fair to ask:

Did the Bush Adminisration also ignored warnings from the CIA & FBI & foreign intelligence about the impendning attacks of Sept. 11th?

2. We know they did as evidenced by the PDB that Kindasleezy
spoke of that they had in their hot little hands in August 01, and by the many memos sent to the FAA by the FBI agent that were patently ignored.
Oh, you mean you think it's time the media asked some hardhitting questions? That would be refreshing, and totally out of character. Too much hard work when they'd rather sit on their collective asses and be told what to ask.

3. And yet Frank Rich comes across to many as a 'hard hitter'
that's what set me off today.

On the surface, he comes across like he's exposing the Bush Administration and yet he really just plays along.

It's like there's a line he just can't seem to cross. And I want to know why.

Is he just an insider or stupid?

4. I like Frank Rich and won't classify him
in the same category as most supposed journalists. Having said that, perhaps he doesn't want to be branded as a conspiracy theorist, or just doesn't believe that even this corrupt bunch would stoop so low (that, BTW, is my dad's conviction as well).

5. I never put the pattern together until I read this post....at least
I never included 9/11 with the others....maybe Rich hasn't either. Good talking point.

6. A review of Richard Clarke's book Against All Enemies
Edited on Sun May-07-06 01:27 PM by lyonn
would be worthwhile. His expression "hair was on fire" around all the inteligence agencies is stuck in my mind and the bushies went on about business as usual, wanted to start up Star Wars again, etc., etc.

Wolfowitz even told a group of people that the only way to get the American people to go along with a war with Iraq was through WMD's. Which goes along with the statement in the Downing Street Memos to "fix" the intel to fit their story line.

The stories go on and on and the busy public doesn't have time to read this stuff and the media isn't about to tell them.

By the way, Polosi was really great this a.m.

Edit: In spite of Timmies harsh treatment of Polosi. To be expected, yet he was all cozy acting with the guys who came on next. Don't the people get it? They watch these shows! She hit all the issue dead on!!

9. Also David Ray Griffin's book needs a review...
IT clearly exposes 9/11 as WH inside job so 'Butch' could have his war for corporate profit, control of treasury, Americans, globalization/empire
read PNAC-Project for a New American Century of which Rumsfailed & Dickster are co-founders.

Griffin's key book is: "The 9/11 Commision Report-Ommissions and Distortions". Should be mandatory reading....

13. One doesn't need to go into LIHOP or MIHOP territory, though
and perhaps at this point, it's best not to.

There really needs to be an investigation.

10. Psst, it's Pelosi!
She needed to tell him to sit down, shut up & tell him she knows the legendary "Big Russ" taught him better manners than that and she would appreciate the opportunity to finish answering a question.

7. It happened on his watch. All organizations I've ever been around
would use the experience to learn how to do better.

We are not doing this.

This is not a partisan perspective, because it is based on the simple and obvious fact that 9/11 happened on Bush's "watch".

12. Some people are probably obsessed with the Big Dog, because they
have inadequate sex lives themselves.

Democrats are doers, not craven obsessions about things we would do, but won't. Which is hopeless, of course, that's why Dem. are doers. Doers don't have to talk about others in order to have a sex life.

11. that aug 6 2001 pdb omitted a very important paragraph.
on page 2, it said this," weeks, many many dead, very very big uproar, possibly using hijacked commercial jets as suicide weapons to be crashed into skyscrapers in New York City, Chicago and Washington DC." as I look back at that brief glimpse of the pdb made public thanks to BenVineste I could have sworn they'd repeat the airing of the pdb. But no, later when the pdb was re-aired it omitted the obvious damaging paragraph.
If my VCR was on that day I'd have some serious evidence against them or be held at Gitmo.
WEEKS,MANY MANY DEAD...

How right they were "keep it secret (tenet) keep it safe" PNAC needs 911.. King George needs 911..
