Young viewers just don't watch The O'Reilly Factor like they used to. April marked Bill O'Reilly's lowest-rated month in the 25-54 demographic since August 2001. His 415,000 demo viewers in March was a new low, but O'Reilly managed to lose a few more in April, averaging 412,000 in the demo. Here's his post-Katrina track: Sept: 1,115 / Oct: 518 / Nov: 468 / Dec: 460 / Jan: 472 / Feb: 458 / Mar: 415 But this trend started long before the hurricane. for O'Reilly, April's numbers reflected his lowest demo rating in almost five years. 1. They are watching Olbermann, or Stewart and Colbert reruns.
Or out having fun. Or clipping their toenails. Hell, I'm in my 50s, and O'Lielly is an old man to me. News Flash: O'Lielly is nothing but a pompous jerk.

Always good to hear from a peer; same music, same memories at the same time. My draft lottery number was (thank God) 247. And you? I still say the JFK assassination was the most traumatic event of our lives, as horrible as 9/11 was.

7. My brother got a Conscientious Objector status. How tough is that?
He has always been driven, my younger brother. That took guts, and he got it. A good man even today, even though more than a little hardass in everything he does.

14. I certainly hope so, and it was 247
I think I do good things. I did not want to go to Vietnam anymore than anyone from the Bush family wants to go. The difference is that I was in the pool. They never, ever will be.

4. Hahaha...They're just discovering how boring and repetitive Fox has become
since the Republican party hit the skids.
Without political discussion it's all night of Aruba, immigrants, and college rape.....in mixed order on each show.

15. This is not the Free Republic I know and love.
Quotes from the thread:

"If the pompous ass had any competition at all he would never have the first slot..."

"FOX News has always been full of tabloid crap (with few exceptions). But the Factor has become laughable in the past year or so."

"It's so odd to hear anyone going on about this guy. I absolutely refuse to read watch or listen to him. He's a self-admitted jive merchant in the "Infotainment Business". He does'nt care for or believe in anything except ratings...Period. Plus, he's got mean little beady eyes. He really is not a nice man. ( He actually could be John McCains dead brother.)"

This is the first time I've come back from Freeperland without having to take a shower.

The 25/54 demo is the one that spends all the money. You lose this group and the advertisers go also.
