A couple of comments from my Repub mother-in-law this weekend..

1) The movie about 9/11 is in extremely poor taste, she refuses to go see it,and everyone else should too.

2) Bush has something to do with the high gas prices and you can't convince her otherwise.

2. My mother in law is a Saint

A life long democrat. She doesn't usually rail but when she does stay clear. I recall reagan's grandiose and tax payer money wasting funeral. She about had a cow and pissing her republican son and (other) son in law along the way.

Reality - seeing the light - it's happening. Slowly but surely they emerge from the darkness that is the Republican Party, and the realization when they do is staggering!

However, she's partially right about Stupid and gas prices. The recent hikes have everything to do with oil futures, and every time Stupid waves his weenie around and threatens Iran, those markets get nervous and start to bid prices up.

They know what a botch he's made of Iraq and Afghanistan.
