For the anti-corruption wing of the Dem party - we're making headway.

A few of us have stayed on the open books and open government beat for a few years now. It looks like the Dem party is catching on.

Notice that Nacy Pelosi and the Dem leadership now use signs and backdrops declaring the party is FOR open government. They actually used our words - OPEN GOVERNMENT. I don't think that phrase had ever been used before - certainly not by the consultant class the last few decades.

The DNC and Dean have referred to open government as a priority Dem goal.

Honest and OPEN GOVERNMENT is the way to bring this country back - to save REAL democracy OF the people, BY the people, FOR the people, and accountable TO the people.

Thanks to all who do not ignore the importance of opening our government and making it accountable. Open books will be the fastest road to REAL peace and REAL prosperity.

I have no doubt that WE are making a difference in the way some of our leaders are viewing the value of open government as an issue.

2. That should be the Democrats slogan.
It's short and to the point, defining our ideology.

4. Pelosi said on MPT that she was for CLEAN MONEY, CLEAN ELECTIONS.
Nothing will really change in the way business is done in Washington if we do not have public financing of Congressional campaigns. Our government now works for BIG MONEY, not for the people.

Clean Money, Clean Elections is the ONLY way to go. The time is NOW.
