That's it? They're claiming that Dems are going to go into payback mode if they win over Congress and will subpoena records, investigate and potentially impeach George Bush.

Is this a strategy, really? Well, then, what are we afraid of? We should be bold and remind the American people that there hasn't been one investigation brought on by this Administration that has convinced anyone that it wasn't a cover-up. They should remind Republicans that credibility in our government system requires that Democrats pursue investigations, turn over every rock, and answer to the public to let them know that our country is not being run by a bunch of crooks.

We can also promise them, yes, promise them, that we won't spend 70 million dollars pursuing 20 year old real estate deals, we won't pursue a person's private sexual life unless it involves bribery but WE WILL FIND OUT IF SOMEONE HAS CIRCUMVENTED THE PROCESS AND IT HAS CAUSED BAD LEGISLATION TO PASS THAT HURT THE MIDDLE CLASS TAXPAYER.

So, I would say to the Republicans who are trying to scare the voters from giving the Democrats control of congress: What are you afraid of? What are you trying to hide?

6. their strat.
We don't even need a counter attack really. Just painting ourselves positively would outdo them. It should be an easy race imho.
