The Next Time A Righty Says That Democrats Spend Irresponsibly...
I'm fed up with Righties whining about Democratic spending. I just built and put up a nifty graph on my site Blue Works Better:

1. Gov't spending - including military costs - are included in GDP.

2. Yeah
The problem is that most righties will acknowledge that their leaders have failed them on this issue (although they might mention the war on terror as an extenuating circumstance).

The problem is that if they got their way, well, a lot of programs we support and believe in would be thrown overboard as well. Like the Department of Education. or HUD.

3. War on terra?
Your right, they always blame the war on terra for all our deficit spending, but I always shoot back with: Well maybe if "the decider" went to war with Al Qida, you know the guy's that actually attacked us, then maybe it wouldn't be so costly. Instead 'the decider" decided that Iraq could be included in the war on terra, and that is the black hole where so much of our tax dollars get dumped. Of course this leads up to another argument all together but I love doing battle with the con's.
