15. Lol! Not as critical but when I read what you wrote it reminded me of
Sophie's Choice! On the other hand, with the future of our country at stake, it's just as critical. Sara's Choice????

Sara :hi: right back at you!
Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :)

25. Sophie's Choice is probably my all-time favorite film, and I'm almost
embarrassed to confess that it is the one, without exception, where I enjoyed the film much more than the book!

27. It was an excellent film Sara and the acting of Streep and Kline gave a
very good book a life of its own. Although it is not one of my favorite films, it was beautifully done. :)

9. I realize it makes you sick, but he really does!
I know it's all fake, but it's his only asset. If you actually listen to him when he's just talking to someone and not on the stump or behind the podium, he comes across as a fun guy.

He does fairly well at hiding his true personality!

11. We're not interested in facades...
We're only interested in what happens when a politician steps away from the camera and starts being real.

As Rush Limbaugh once said, "He who lives by the photo-op dies by the photo-op."

Wow. I never imagined that Rush would actually turn out to be right about something...

19. Pass me some of what you are smoking.
Any natural charm he has is so insignificant one would need a microscope to find it. The "charm" he does show in his public persona is clearly so staged that anyone with more than a 50 IQ should see through the insincerity. Charisma? Well, maybe he has some, but I think most of it is staged too. He can stride about like a generalissimo, but hey it is still a sock in the crotch of that flight suit. The man is a humbug, a sociopath who has been trained to act superficially charming and charismatic. He is neither, and he does a poor job acting both parts.

Who is her advisor, Karl Rove?

I think at some point she had a really good shot, but what she is considering "shrewed political moves", are just mind-boggling mistakes...

20. she's doing her job as Senator from N Y
NY State, and especially NYC still need all the federal assistance they can weasel out of Washington post 9/11. You don't get that by personally trashing the leader of the party that's in the majority.

Gosh, HRC is being a politician. Imagine that.

the lengths people will go to on this board to attack HRC are absurd. Why don't you post this garbage over in Freepland? Of course, you'll most likely get the same responses.

22. Nonsense! When has she spoken out for NYers? She was going
to help the soldiers that came home with DU. What happened with that? The sociopath WH said it was ok for people to go back to work in lower Manhattan after 9/11 and meanwhile people are now dying. Does she speak out about that? And her decision to go to war. No matter what money she ekes for NY, the debt that is now upon us as individuals because of that vote is unconscionable.

Add to that her latest whoring re video game violence and her newly closed views on abortion..pandering to the WrongWing...

Give me a Russ Feingold, a Barbara Boxer, a John Conyers anytime. They are real Democrats. Just because Hillary calls herself one, doesn't mean she is....

23. George Bush took us to war with Iraq, not Hillary Clinton
This.... BULLSHIT that a yes vote on the IWR was somehow responsible for the Iraq war only serves to give G W Bush a pass for his illegal war. STOP USING IT TO BASH DEMS WITH !

and if DU was the arbiter of what a "real dem" was, the Democrats wouldn't pull 10% in a national election.

Hillary Clinton is just as much a Democrat as any you mention, and attacks like yours only serve to help the "Wrongwing". The ADA liberal rankings for 2005 rank Boxer, Clinton, and Feingold all at 100%. Conyers is 95%. What part of voting 100% of the time pro - Democratic Party makes HRC NOT a Democrat?

26. The BS is that Hillary has not yet to my knowledge expressed her regret
Edited on Wed May-10-06 04:24 PM by OmmmSweetOmmm
about voting for the IWR. Last time I looked, she was still standing by her decision..even though the people of her state were by percentages against going to war. The NYC council voted a resolution not to support it. That said..even little ole me knew that the WMD story was just that, a BS story. Now this person is having Murdoch pimp for her? Please.

I will not accept the MSM selecting her as the candidate of our party. The more they say her name, the more people will believe that her nomination is inevitable. I will not stay quiet on this and this is my OP and you can have yours.

Maybe if you don't want Hillary discussed at DU you should ask the Admins to ban any discussion on her other than those discussions that are favorable. Until then I will speak my mind, thank you very much.

yeah. she is just hunky dory. I am for Tasari. Wherever Murdock goes, I don't. Next she might get a kiss from Bill O'Reilly. That might even be worse than Liebermann's kiss from Dubya.

They hate her as an independent woman. Not Christain enough for their standards. Welfare reform , Clinton style. At the end of Clinton's term, liberal bashing was part of his pollsters' methods.
