My guess? The Allies will be Russia, China, North Korea and Iran (heck - make that the entire Middle East)

The Axis will be US, UK, and Poland. Israel might help out, but they'd be concerned about getting nuked to oblivion.

We know about the charm gene in clan Cheney. We are being treated to more examples of it this week here in the US. :evilgrin:

The Axis will consist of the US and Australia, the UK because of it's membership in the EU will be neutral. Poland, with Russia right next door won't jump in on the US side either, they know better from the past what the Russians can do.

Israel will not join the US, they will provide verbal support but nothing material.

And the current administration might have an internal problem as well, just like the US is currently working with Iranian anti-government groups, the Russian-Sino-Iran alliance could provide material support for the same kind of groups in the US.

I was being a bit flippant about Poland (First 2004 Pres. Debate - "you forgot Poland!") but you make an interesting point about the UK - i did totally forget about Autralia.

And honestly I don't think the Russian-Sino-Iran alliance even needs to seed rebellion in the US - plenty of us are there already.

I think the Canadians would stay neutral, the Japanese may side with us, and the Indians are a tough call. They have interests on both sides. And would make a strategic ally for the US - however, Russia and China are in close proximity, and they have had relations with them for centuries.

The allies would be the british commonwealth countries
including the UK when the torys get elected next year
due to the decline of the blairbush duxix, and the rise
of EU paranoia and plutocratic pscyhosis in the UK.

China would stay neutral, India would enter the war against
pakistan, and this would force china to committ.

The really sad part of all this, is that every person on
earth knows the reason the United STates people let their
army go around murdering people is because war has not
come stateside. All the military commanders in the world
would make sure the next war went stateside, so that the
supporters of the genocides pay the price. Then the
bush people will not be held responsible, again, by
a public that will be further enraged to war, and a world
that will similar become so.

THe EU would probably stay neutral, Pakistan would suffer
an overthrow of musharraf and join iran together in defense
of islam after the first assault.
