Somebody should ask Bush to resign.
I love what all of these small towns and cities are doing, putting forward impeachment legislation. I think that's great. I also hear people when they say that we should run on an impeachment platform in '06, I think that's fine too.

But I sure wish somebody would get on TV and ask for his resignation. Preferrably somebody important, like a high ranking congrassman, or a former president. Just call for a press conference, leak the topic a few minutes before to get lots of buzz, then call for his resignation on live TV and include a short, sweet list of reasons why.

It'll do two things- it will get people talking (envision a world without Bush), and it'll put even more pressure on an already panicking white house.

And I'd like to see it soon. The country needs it.

1. I'm Waiting For That Question
PLEASE, OH PLEASE....in one of the Q & A's he's having, someone please ask the question....."For the benefit of the American people, and the WORLD, could you please tender your resignation, and have Dick do likewise?"

3. Unfortunately, it's not Nixon's GOP anymore. The members of his own
party were the ones who had to confront him in the WH and ask him to step down. I don't think that'll happen today.

4. I've DEMANDED Bush resign twice!
First time was after the Katrina disgrace. Then again a few weeks ago just because I felt like it. You can send him an e-mail by going to www.White House.gov and ask him to resign, too. It's fun. But you'll probably get on a list.
