Man Denied Mother's Day Tote Bag Sues MLB Team
Man Denied Mother's Day Tote Bag Sues MLB Team

POSTED: 12:14 pm EDT May 11, 2006

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- A Los Angeles man who was denied a red nylon tote bag during a Mother's Day promotion at an Angels baseball game has filed a sex and age discrimination lawsuit against the team.

The class action claim filed by Michael Cohn alleges that thousands of males and fans under age 18 are entitled to $4,000 in damages each because they were treated unequally at last May's promotion.

Women over 18 received the gifts.

Angel officials said Cohn was the only person who complained about the giveaway and that the team is proud of its promotions.

2. I'd give him a purse only if
he showed up for the game in full-on drag, including spiky heels.

4. Sorry, but before he gets the bag
He'd better damn well pop out a kid. Geez, some people just damn well try and ruin a good thing. What, he didn't like the Father's Day bags?

Actually this guy sounds like a professional collector, think Comic Book Man from the Simpsons. Willing to be he'd try and sell the bag for big bucks, say $4000, in a few years.
