Occam's Razor - DEMS MUST assume they are being spyed on!
Edited on Thu May-11-06 01:26 PM by Vinnie From Indy
As we draw closer to the '06 elections, I hope that all Dem cadidates at least consider the possibility that their communications are being monitored and that they take whatever counter-measures are available.

The simplest explanation for BushCo's obliteration of the rule of law in regard to spying on Americans is that they are doing it primarily for political advantage. I would hope that all Republican lawmakers ponder the effect of having all of their communications monitored as well.

But you knew that.

Welcome to the USSR... formerly known as the United States... I am waiting for PRAVDA to come on so they can tell me what I should think today.

3. Of course they are...
This is an administration of extremists who make Nixon's crew look downright socialist. There's no law or rule they won't break, then defend their right to break it.

7. Assume, hell I know I've been spyed on
In fact I'm seriously thinking about filing some FOIA requests just to get my protests pictures from over the years, it would make a nice little retrospective.

8. I think real Republicans have
to assume they are being spied on as well...hell they probably already know it. You just don't keep that many of them in line this long with out some help.

9. Don't leave out the media.
I suspect they are/have been the #1 target. Nuetralize them and you can control the national dialogue. The salient point here is that they went for this capable to monitor US citizens before 9/11. When you are brazen enough to steal elections and loot the Treasury on a wholesalke basis, you have to know what the opposition knows and take action to stop it.

They want to frame this as protecting us from terrorists....it is up to everyone of us to call bullshit whenever that flimsy justification is uttered in public.

Here's the litmus test for the RW hacks who'd justify this. Would you have any problems with this if Clinton was doing it? Will you have any problems when the next Democratic President has te same precedent?
