4. I have Verizon, but go get'em. If you know someone doing
Verizon I am a willing Plaintiff, pm me.

I was a lawyer for years. I would go back to the profession if I could spend my golden years prosecuting these asshats.

3. I'm with ya! All you need to do is tell us what the process is,
and what we have to do next, and I'm sure you'll have lots of support from us here on DU!

I've had Bell South service since 2000 when we moved to Ga.

6. You can count me in
I have Bellsouth and I am one pissed off consumer right now. I have been thinking all day what to do about this. When you flesh it out some let me know.

Another thing. I know this is about phone records but I have Bellsouth as my ISP as well. If they turned over phone records I am sure they did the same with their internet logs as well. I am trying to get more information on that issue right now.

7. That was my first thought when I heard about
the latest domestic spying scandal, why can't we sue the communications companies for sharing this in formation. AT&T is my local company, if there are any attorneys out there could we file a class action lawsuit over this?

10. Check out what I posted at this link, and I'm in too (Bell South)
(Just don't forget, Bell South is merging or changing it's name again or something).

The Phone Corps SOLD YOUR DATA!

I was just listening to the APM radio show Marketplace, and they pointed out something that I think everyone here missed about the NSA "Collecting you Phone Records" story.

"...The three telecommunications companies are working under contract with the NSA, which launched the program in 2001 shortly after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, the sources said...." <http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2006-05-10-nsa_x.htm?POE=NEWISVA>

Your Phone Company SOLD your data to the NSA!!! That's what UNDER CONTRACT means!

What's worst. YOUR TAXES are paying for this invasion of YOUR PRIVACY!

Just thought you all should know, if you did miss it.

Also: I wonder if this is why Qwest suddenly found themselves on the other end of a Federal Investigation???

11. Post Info Here at DU on any and all class action suits.
I'm AT*T...but I'm rather too through with the telcos right about now...considering the NSA is using my tax money to pay telcos for my information.
